Enjoy a 2 ½-day guided hunting trip. Just bring your gear; we provide everything else!

Our 2 ½-day hunting packages include comprehensive services such as beverages, meals, and accommodation for all participants. We also welcome guests who are not participating in the hunt, subject to the availability of space, at a rate of $250.00 per night.

In the event that a deer is not harvested within the designated timeframe, we will impose a lodge fee of $250.00 per night, in addition to a guide fee of $250.00 per hunter. We encourage hunters who do not achieve a harvest to consider rebooking with us.

Reservations and Deposit Information

To secure your hunting excursion, we require a non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 per hunter. This deposit ensures your selected dates and accommodation at the lodge are reserved for you. The remaining balance must be settled before your departure and can be paid via credit card, check, money order, or cash. For deposits, please send checks or money orders to Merryville Outfitters at 422 East College Street, Suite B, Lake Charles, LA 70605. Credit card payments are also accepted over the phone and are subject to a 4% transaction fee for non-cash payments.

Please note that the prices quoted do not cover the guide fees or gratuities. While tipping is not obligatory, it is greatly appreciated as a gesture of thanks for a memorable hunting experience. If our team, including guides and cooks, has contributed positively to your stay, consider tipping as a way to express your gratitude.

LDWF Licensing

To ensure you're fully prepared for your hunting adventure, it's essential to have the appropriate licenses in place. We encourage you to visit the LDWF Web Portal to purchase or renew your hunting license. While we're here to guide you through the process, obtaining the necessary licenses is a crucial step you'll need to take directly through the official channels.

Resident Hunting Licenses:

These are available for various types of hunting, including basic hunting excluding big game, big game hunting, and archery. Special licenses are available for seniors.

Non-Resident Hunting Licenses:

If you're visiting from out of state, you'll find options for basic hunting excluding big game, big game hunting, archery, and specific short-term hunting like a 1-day deer license.

Military Hunting Licenses:

Special rates are available for active and retired military personnel, including basic hunting excluding big game, big game hunting, and archery. There are also deeply discounted licenses for residents or surviving spouses of military personnel killed in action.

Please check the LDWF Web Portal for detailed information on the licenses required for your hunting activities, including any updates or changes to the laws and regulations. Remember, being properly licensed is not only a legal requirement but also part of responsible hunting practices.
