My husband Chancy set my hunt up with Brian. He was very nice and knew this place like the back of his hand. I felt very comfortable around him and his wife Melanie. They were both so hospitable. The lodge is awesome, it feels so cozy and the food was amazing. This place is huge, we saw a lot of deer. After three hunts my big boy came out and I smoked him. I am still excited about it. Just wanted to pass along a sincere thanks for the opportunity that you provided for myself and customers at your hunting lease in Merryville, LA. It was one of the best hunting experiences that we have had in a long time. The way you have your place set up for both bow and gun hunters provides a unique opportunity for harvesting deer in either manner. The facilities were immaculate and extremely comfortable. The property was very well managed and the deer herd you have accumulated are second to none. Why go all the way to West Texas when you can kill record deer right here in Louisiana? The buck that my customer shot was a 22 point beautiful deer and was the biggest deer he had ever harvested. Great place to hunt!
